Eddie Henwood
Eddie Henwood, along with Bill Glastonbury, were notorious as the "hard men" of South Gawler as recorded by the Bunyip newspaper of the late 1900s.
In 1910 both he and Glastonbury were invited to fill in for South Adelaide in a hit-out against the GFA. Henwood was so impressive that the Panthers asked him to stay on where he enjoyed great success as a league backman.
