Robert Edmonds

Bob I Edmonds sprang forth, a Colt and son of a great South giant ruckman, Stan. At 15 he i is thought to be the youngest player to ever represent the GDFL combined A Grade I side. It is reported that Bob (who in later years married Pat Clark, daughter of Life

Members Len and Clarice, and sister of Life Member Des, Dean and Peter - all top A Grade players), stood and soundly beat league football veteran Shanks, who was imported by Roseworthy. Bob, who went on to play league football for Central Districts was one of the best kicks (with either foot) that has been seen at the Club.

64 Bob Edmonds made his debut with the Bulldogs who had now commenced league football in the S.A.N.F.L.
